The Lynde Francis Trust
The Lynde Francis Trust is working with groups of artists or women who are supporting large numbers of orphaned or otherwise disadvantaged children. In April 2018, we at Sikiliza decided to sponsor one of their projects, which was to support a young disadvantaged artist who painted and drew items that could be sold at the Harare International Festival of The Arts. We decided to support the talented Tatenda Moyo who drew a lovely picture of a Warthog and we had it transcribed onto organic cotton t-shirts and through the Lynde Francis Trust, shipped them to Europe where they shall be sold in order to pay for Tatenda to complete his high school education in Zimbabwe.
Sikiliza aims at bridging the gap between the environment and our community. As our speciality is travel tourism, we have realised the large role we play in making sure that the communities in the countries that we operate in are taken care of and supported in order to enhance their chances of survival in the world.
