Murchison Falls National Park
Located in the Northwest, Murchison Falls National Park is a must do during your stay in Uganda:
Crossed by the Victoria Nile River (or White Nile), this Park is the largest protected nature reserve in the country. Experience a walk in nature, a safari or a river cruise, where you could find the famous 'Big Five', but also hippos, crocodiles, leopards and rare birds.
Located between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the Victoria Nile, you will find Murchison Falls. This waterfall through which the Nile springs, a gorge 8 meters wide and measuring 45 meters high, will offer you an extraordinary spectacle.
South Queen Elizabeth National Park
A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it is the ideal destination for a safari in Uganda! Ishasha, located in the Park site is one of only two places in Africa in which you can observe tree climbing lions, trying to flee tsetse flies and the hot soil, the lion also use it as advantageous point for hunting!
In addition to tree-climbing lions, you can also meet multiple herds of buffalo, many antelopes as well as hippos and elephants, far from the crowds of tourist!
